Those commercials are great...it seems like something like that would have worked much better than the marketing they've done here in the States.
Really - not only do I want a Pre more now, I want a few canadian phone numbers. :)
Glad to see the Pre jumping borders (to more places). Bring on the fanboys.
I like the phone, but don't see it as revolutionary as this type of commercial would imply.
Of course, Webkit browser is awesome (wish PIE would get with the times)... but
camera mirror, multiple open apps (my 4 year old WinMo does that, but it's considered a fault, not enhancement), and push technology are nothing new, quite the contrary. Synergy sucks until it allows for more granular control (e.g. who wants a bunch of FB crap clogging up their REAL Outlook contacts), and seriously... where is the video camera mode? Enjoy it Canadians, but if I were you, I'd get a Touch Pro II :-). You can do all that and more, and with a larger 'full keyboard', :-)

Here in Canada we are lucky enough to have more than 1 company providing cell phone service. A law was made to force that too happen soon after we abolished the 26 hour time system. Sadly, this means that only 1 company has been announced to have the Touch Pro II. This company is the same that currently is the only one to offer the iPhone. Bell is another company (its name comes from the man who invented the first cell phone in Canada, Alexander Graham Bell) which currently does not offer the iPhone or have any announced plans to get the Touch Pro II. As such, the Palm Pre is the best phone available for people using this Bell company.
