know this already, but Sony Ericsson has now officially confirmed an October UK release for its latest pair of handsets. The half-Swedish,
half-Welsh mobile empire has set the seventh day of the tenth month of whatever year this is as the date for a nice little corporate get-together and unveiling of whatever little details haven't
been seen or
pored over by now. The
Aino slider hopes to capture fans with its slender looks and PS3
Remote Play skills, while the
Satio (formerly known as the Idou, pictured) works the multimedia phone crowd with a 12.1 megapixel cam and a 3.5-inch 16:9 display. The latter was recently handled by
Engadget Spanish, who found it underwhelming and somewhat sluggish -- but rest assured, we'll be getting a lot more fingerprints on these touchscreen devices in the coming weeks.

The war between fanboys of iPhone, Nokia and Sony Ericsson has just been fueled.
Would be interesting to read blogs and comments on these devices by their respective fan boys how they dis the competition with negative qualities without actually having ZERO knowledge about Hardware/OS and Market perspective.
One things for certain, Sony Ericsson will outsmart themselves by Outpricing both these phones out of customers reach. Not to mention that the ph's lack imp features paying customers desire - Music jack, Digi compass, inbuilt GB's, turn to mute sensor, etc and also for all those unsuspecting touch phone fans the Aino is actually not even a proper Touch ph. SE really should not be in the handset business at all anymore.
It's already up for pre-order at mobiles.co.uk: http://www.cellphone-reviews.co.uk/2009/09/sony-ericsson-aino-now-available-for.html might be getting earlier release date since according to them, stocks will arrive around Oct. 5th.
I can't beleive Sony-Ericsson are STILL using that totally retarded big block connector thing instead of a standard 3.5mmm phone jack. IT makes using the tihing totally inconvenient and awkward, and is the only reason I wont buy this phone.
