Nokia Twist given a proper photo shoot, priced $100 for Verizon
Not that there was any doubt, but Nokia's gone official with its Verizon-bound 7705 Twist, just shy of one month after its KIRF counterpart hit the market. Espoo's released a handful of glamor shots to celebrate, and although the hardware is still crazy enough to thoroughly pique our interests, all the airbrushing in the world won't break that UI from its "mid-nineties dumbphone" shackles. Price is less than what we previously heard, $99.99 with two-year contract thanks to a $50 mail-in rebate.

I notice on the press shots that the EV icon has changed to say 3G...is this a sign of things to come for Verizon phones or is Nokia just changing things up? 3G seems to be the universal term so going from EV to 3G wouldn't be much of a stretch.
ditto thom... maybe they'll have 3G for EVDO and then for devices that have 1X, EVDO, and LTE they'll have a symbol for LTE that is maybe (4G??) and they are just doing this 3G thing for uniformity?? I dunno tho.
Ok, now it looks much nicer. Still not something I'd buy (unless they made a left-handed version...but probably not even then) but it doesn't just look like a silly gimmick anymore.
