Those UI elements still a bit too small in Windows Mobile 6.5? It's no problem at all for the
HTC Leo, which has been found at last in the wild. The monstrous handset houses what we've heard to be a 4.3-inch screen, and the hardware info screen shows it to be pumping an 800 x 480 resolution with a 1GHz Qualcomm 8250B Snapdragon processor -- excuse us while we allow a tingle to run leisurely up and down our spine. It dwarfs the Touch Pro2 (a largish handset in its own right) in head to head comparisons, and seems
strikingly similar to earlier leaks -- even down to that dual LED flash and the Pro.Three moniker on the back.

Only 800x480 ?! Yawn, that's what the TP2 already does, I'd have 'spected 1024x768 with this won't-fit-in-a-pocket-anymore display.
I love me a widescreen display with a standard resolution.

hmm?, i wonder if this will fit in my man bag, next to my man lip-stick er i meant chapstick? i own the tmobile g1 and its pretty hard to keep safe from abuse of daily life, so i imagine this most likely $900 device will take a miracle! i remember when umpc were all the rage, and then they died, on;y to be recreated as a cell that would make an iphone look ilke a garage sale item!
The only thing it needs now is Android!

So it's thinner than the iphone, 6mm wider, and 6mm longer. That's less than a quarter of an inch larger in each dimension, but 0.8 inches more screen space.
One more thing: Is that the Whitestone next to the Leo? In the width comparison it looks too thin to be a TP2
They have a TP2 as well as a Touch HD. The face shot is compared to the TP2, probably because it is a newer device that prople world wide would recognize and be able to relate to but the other device where you see the back of the two devices and the side profile is a Touch HD which has a 3.8 inch display and is closer is actual size to the HTC Leo in thickness, length and width.
Whats really impressive is not just the screen, its the power behind the phone.
A 1 Ghz processor and 320MB ram? FINALLY! Someone saw the light and gave a windows mobile phone the power it needs to run effectively.
I tell ya, if the processors/ram prices keep falling...... people better keep an eye on MicroSoft again. Especially with WinMo 7 coming out next yer.

Finally, I wonder if the Thoth will be canceled. It is supposed to be similar hardware with a 4.8" screen. That's big enough to be a laptop replacement for me...
