Nokia Mural doesn't play nice with 3G, yanked from AT&T shelves
A North American Nokia with 3G that doesn't work on 3G, needs to be recalled and replaced... something about this story sounds familiar, doesn't it? Unlike the curious case of the 5800 XpressMusic, though, the Mural is a branded phone operated directly through AT&T -- so the fact that it was accidentally released without being able to connect to 3G is especially shady. It's a hardware problem which means a firmware update isn't going to magically make this particular quirk go away; replacement phones are expected next week, but if Mural owners prefer, they're welcome to come into an AT&T store and take a different device in its stead.

This MIGHT be an ok non-smartphone if it CHANGED colors.
Wow nokia, if you want to get back into AT&T's retail game, you need to stop fucking up.
AT&T and Nokia really just need to go their separate ways. I know they think staying together is best for the kids but it hurts them too.
Why do people with feature phones even need 3g?
To get people off of GSM so that 3G can gain more spectrum as GSM gets slowly (very slowly) phased out, better voice quality, higher voice capacity (network side).
Featurephones have browsers, too.

Wow, its not as if they have 3G even when the hardware IS there.
See,Nokia sucks and SE rules;yes,Nokia is the leader in mobile handset sales, but there phones are no competition to the other mobile phone makers out there. That is why they are losing ground;THEY SUCK!
I went to the at&t store to pick up one of these for the missus, and was informed that they had been put on hold. The lady at the store had no idea why, or when they'd again be available. Hmmm...
Perhaps someone failed to determine if all their phones would work after 3G was shifted to 850mhz?
