HTC Leo's TouchFLO 3D build demoed on video
The HTC Leo is shaping up to be a pretty monumental Windows Mobile launch, and not just because of that high-res capacitive touchscreen and 1GHz Snapdragon processor -- it's also running a nicely refreshed version of TouchFLO 3D. The cats at PocketNow managed to grab an early ROM and install it on a Touch Diamond2, check the video after the break to see the new icons, dynamic background wallpaper, and much, much more.

Seems laggy, slow and choppy.
are you an idiot or what?
its a premature build... kinda like the beta versions of iPhone... only better.
@marco ritacca: Theres no reason to call him an idiot for stating a fact...
The Leo is going to be faster, and apparently that is a Touch Pro 2 he is using to demo it, so it wont be as good as rending something that is supposedly designed for the leo. HTC also seem to leave optimizing to the last minute most times :)
Ok Pezolla , I won't call you an idiot, but if you read the article it explains that the UI is flashed on a Diamond2, i.e. on an hardware vastly inferior to the one on which it will run on the Leo.
Add a multitouch capacitive 4,3" screen, and specially the Leo's 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, and my opinon is that this sexy UI is gonna fly once installed on the devices it is meant for.
I have already taken my decison: whichever between the HTC Leo or the Archos Android tablet/phone is gonna hit the market will end up in my pocket and take the place of both My HTC touchHD and my HTC Hero
Thanks to the good folks at XDA, I've had this on my T-Mobile Touch Pro2 for about 3 days now. Totally fixed the laggy issues with sliding the screen open/closed. Only downside is no landscape mode in most screens. But the cleanliness and responsiveness outweighs that. I love 6.5's start menus too! Highly recommended to flash this ROM on your TP2.
I've had had this on my X1 for a couple weeks now (also thanks to XDA / HTCpedia). The version I'm using even has landscape, which is nice. The interface is way better than the old 2.1 version. I'm looking forward to the full version of this.
Damn this is making me not want the hero.. Anyone with an iphone who says they dont envy touch flo 3d is lying
The Leo is going to be a great phone. Too bad that for a number of reasons I couldn't wait longer than early October to get it, so I have a Pre arriving tomorrow. It just $ucks that I'm going to have to pray that someone makes a WebOS app to make my BT watch work with the Pre :/
Having flashed this cooked ROM before, I can tell you it appears to be NRG's Leo ROM for the TP2.
