Samsung's Instinct HD lands itself a quick video hands-on
At this point we're a little bored of the Instinct HD leaks, especially now that it's been saddled with that hefty $250 pricetag, but how about a detailed video hands-on for olde tymes sake? Interestingly, on video we're shown the location of the mythic HDMI out port, though it's covered up by a flap, and we'd say that in motion the phone doesn't look as terribly chubby as those blurry photos made it out to be -- who says TV adds 10 pounds? Video is after the break.

I hate short previews... it makes the phone look unresponsive and bad.
When people actually do long previews, like PhoneDog, the interviewer makes sure to set up the phone so it does what people want to see on camera.
OBVIOUSLY the accelerometer is not on, or was not set for the keyboard. But that doesnt mean its bad, people.... I know there is gonna be comments.
You're right. This is copypasta from what I said on phonearena. "So far, watching this video the only two disappointing things I see is that the accelerometer doesn't automatically change the keyboard from landscape to portrait. The other is it seems when the keyboard is in portrait it is still in abcd layout, I was hoping it would go to a large buttoned number pad with t9 prediction. That seems like it would work best for me. But I might be in the minority. Even with having had my rant yesterday I'll still be getting this phone. I really enjoyed the ui on the S30 and being it is supposed to be lightly upgraded for the hd, I'll take it! "
That UI is just flippin ugly . What a failure. Why not use TouchWiz?
most of what the reviewer showing off is how fast the menus flip. lol
its still an instinct, and as an instinct owner i can tell you $250 is $200 too much for what became a total disappointment. Do yourself a favor and wait for reviews as well as read user forums so you know what to expect. Also, if there is an announcement for a patch enabling basic features and fixing critical errors to be released "soon", don't be surprised if it comes months after your 30-day return agreement ends.
Um, he says um a lot um and its um really um irritating. Go to Toastmasters for god's sake.
