Palm WebOS 1.2.1 now available, 'fixes' iTunes media sync
The game's back on. Palm just announced the availability of its 1.2.1 update to WebOS for the Palm Pre and, well, that's it for the time being. It fixes Exchange mail syncing issues experienced by some users, which is nice, but for everyone else it re-enables media sync with iTunes 9.0.1, with or without the USB-IF's support. In fact, Palm has signaled its commitment to its rogue approach by improving synchronization with the Photos app to keep the album structure in tact while allowing lower-resolution images to be synced to the Pre. Oh happy day -- enjoy it while it lasts Pre owners.

woo! Lol, will it ever end? =D
don't ever let it end. its fun seeing this back and forth. lol
Palm has a set of big brass balls!!!
Lol lol. I love it. Game on-again. Ima rootin' for Palm.
That's sad that Apple let's other devices sync with iTunes. Just show you how much competition Palm is giving Apple. Apples still make money off of iTunes purchases. Palm 2 generation will blow Apple out of the water. Not to mention the guys how designed the Palm, came from Apple the designers of the iPod. Apple your to big of a business to display jealousy.
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!
Way to go Palm. Gives consumers more choices. Simple as that.
Fantastic. Or should I say what the h*** good is that to us over in Europe. In the UK the Pre is being released on 16th October, If we are lucky we should get webos 1.2 by the middle of November, let alone 1.2.1
Wake up up Palm, we are not second class citizens, and we are fed up with knowing that by the end of the year we will likely be paying a higher tarif than the iPhone, for a phone which having waited since January is no longer the best thing out there, and which will be running outdated software.
Are you starting to get the picture. We Brits are not impressed with the way you are treating us.
If your information is correct...I don't get it. Why wouldn't they be releasing the Pre with up-to-date software already installed?
Hey, welcome to our world over here in America. For years we've had to wait for Windows Mobile phones to come to our shores. Most never do with NA 3G bands. So how's it feel now that the shoe is on the other foot? Suck it up and get over your sense of entitlement.
@Red: Preach it brother!
They may criticize, but I'm totally with you on this one. Palm really ought to stop hiding behind weak excuses like network compatibility, working out the international trade channels and even launching the device domestically first just because it's "easier." Step it up, Palm, this tea's getting cold.
My phone is running slower with this last update 1.2.1.......1.2 was good.
