HTC Dragon Android device surfaces in firmware build, could pack 1GHz processor

This one's about as early as it gets, but what you're looking at above is purported to be a screenshot of a firmware build for a hereto unheard of Android device called the HTC Dragon. Now, that's interesting enough in and of itself, but the real kicker is that the phone is said to pack a 1GHz processor (most likely Snapdragon), which should help make HTC's Sense UI snappier than ever -- the rumored 800 x 480 display certainly doesn't hurt things either. Not much more to go on than that, unfortunately, but you can check out a few more exciting screenshots at the link below.

This sounds like the phone I have been waiting for. It probably wont be released in America like the HD2, which is a beast.
Agreed, this looks like what I've been waiting for to replace my dying Tilt. I may cry when we learn that its release will be Europe-only.
drizzy drake kernel? LMFAO
I'm disappointed more haven't enjoyed that.
I am all ready to jump on the first HTC HD2 (Leo) to get to Scandinavia , but if HTC is gonna release an Android driven HD2 ,maybe with the Sense UI I learned to love on my Hero, I may be willing to wait a bit longer.
Besides next week the SE Satio will hit the stores of my 'hood, and altough I'm highly suspicious of anything coming from SE, the choice is getting more and more complicated.
The Satio next week, or the HD2 (Leo) on a month or so, or the HTC Dragon nobody knows when?
I can't say that I'm in dire need of a nw phone since beside my HTC Hero I also have a Nokia N97 and my 1 year old HTC TouchHD (which is still the best win mob phone on the market, much better than the TP2); but I really want something new , and I've already put the TouchHd on Craigslist, and I've feeling that the N97 will follow it quite soon (if the 2.0 ROM due on Oct 20 fails to amaze me), so a replacement must be found.
The life of a geek nowadays is full of doubts and uncertainties...
