HTC HD2 gets itself a promo video and a website
We might have to wait until next year to score the HTC HD2 Stateside, but that doesn't mean we can't all enjoy this jazzy little promo video showing off the highlights of Sense. But is the music more reminiscent of Donkey Kong Country or Iko Iko by the Belle Stars? We ask the hard-hitting questions here at Engadget. Video after the break, website at the read link.

I want one NOW!
Drool...
This or Omnia 2 for me, basically down to whatever comes out first.
Drooling too... and stuck holding a Touch Pro on Sprint.
While vainly looking for a Win 6.5 upgrade, found this official HTC 6.1 ROM Upgrade (to ver. 2.01) on Sprint that was just released Sept 26. (Way to be there HTC! :-/ )
Nonetheless, works great. Contains some nice tweaks and a discernable enhancement in speed as well.

Will hopefully make the wait just a little less excruciating!
why are you waiting? go to xda-developers.com
How can you own a winmo phone, be a reader of engadgetmobile and not constantly be tweaking your cell?
One of the best parts of owning a winmo is a wide open dev community that unlike others and even though it isn't open source has probably the most lenient o.s. maker in microsoft.
Don't like the dialer? get a dif one.
Don't like the button layout or how they're mapped? change it with info or a cab/app from xdadevs
Seriously if you own a winmo from any u.s. carrier and haven't played with custom roms I have no respect for your "opinion" about windows mobile.
It's sort of backwords, in terms of "community" winmo is the closest to the linux community there is in terms of people working on it and openly hacking the system apart.
Ok guys, i played with it this afternoon at a meeting here in Paris and we have a clear winner !!! I wasn't waiting at all winMo 6.5 but this is one beast and 6.5 is way better than it seems. I basically wanted bad a Nokia N900, but now it is clear that i'll wait november to get an HD 2 !! And I don't use to support HTC at all, but this one is really incredible. The screen is REALLY impressive, it is quicker than a 3GS to browse the web, has the same multitouch zooming features (even in videos ?!), it is well connected with Facebook and Twitter throught the Sense UI... Now I can't wait to get it !!!
Sweet ! But I hope they come out with an Android version.
Oh, I love this phone already. Hopefully it will be the closest to an iPhone killer when it comes out and hopefully the UI kicks ass as well. If this is in the US when the iPhone rev4 comes out, it'll be a tough call which one to get.
this phone is amazing. i have to say thru owning phones like iphone 1st gen and 3g and 3gs and g1 and messing around with the storm. this phone looks to put them all to shame, i've never been a fan of windows phones, but this thing is just to amazing, i don't think i've found anything i didn't like about it. and i'm so happy its actually coming to the states this time, and i don't have to go and order it from overseas, and since it wont be on at&t or verizon i'm really hoping t-mobile gets it and they pump up the 3g or go 4g. i really hope this phone give the iphone a run for there money and makes them really bust ass on coming up with new things other then a lil faster and video cam. ( i know thats not all but that was what they really road on for selling it)
"Me Again!"
Well we're one step closer. Finally the HD is now in the US, but where's the pull out keyboard. And even if it has one on the way, I'm still waiting for Windows 7 also.
