BlackBerry Storm 2 appears on Verizon pages
While we haven't seen iron-clad proof of an October 21 (read: tomorrow) launch date, all signs do point to something imminent. And this next item is due to make all of you Storm 2 chasers positively giddy: yes, Verizon has posted the definitive Flash demo for the handset. So hit the read link to 'ooh' and 'ahh' your way through 360 degrees of spine-tingling render -- just try not to get dizzy.

There's something amusing about using a 2nd generation iPod from 2003 as the means for a size comparison...
LOL I was just thinking the same thing...
So the Storm 2 will not launch tomorrow. It has been delayed by VZW. They have not set a new launch date, and last check of the inventory system showed none in Stock. But it is coming and it is coming soon...
The BB Storm 2 is great and all but the best phone that VZW will be coming out will be the VZW version of the HTC Hero (proposed name for VZW "Sleuth"). This coming from my Associate Director boyfriend of VZW Rochester call center. He has been a die hard BB fan and swore to never change. Once he got his hands on the Sleuth he has decided to change once it is released. He went through all features and functions on 10/19 in a product meeting and loves the Android firmware.
I was in line that winter morning in NE waiting for my storm. After almost a year, a dozen or so battery pulls and a bit of frustration I was ready to give up on the whole blackberry thing.
I just activated the new HTC imagio (not my first windows device) and I have to say I can't wait for the storm2. This HTC phone may look sexy and have a nice interface but man this thing sucks...
Slow slow slow. Can't switch between opera and explorer. several keystrokes to bookmark. Several steps to email and text....
The list goes on. I'm going to keep it for another week or so in hopes the Storm2 comes out and if not just go back to the tried and true...
Oh really? I activated my Imagio yesterday, and I think it's the best thing to ever happen to me, device-wise. Mine's lightning fast. If you wanna bookmark something in Opera, all you have to do is long press the screen on the webpage you want and select 'Add to Bookmarks'. And both text and email messages are right there as touchflo 3d tabs, so they're right at your fingertips. Maybe you just got a bad one?
I definitely think it more than holds its own against a Storm or even the Storm 2, but different strokes for different folks, I guess.
Good message.
then do you know how to change default browers. From opera to IE????
