lol. I wonder what the stats are on this thing. I like the $99 price tag, but I dont like jumping in before seeing what kind of stats there are. Either way, go android! Take over the market!

both the HTC and the moto droid are at my local vzw shop at the mall. the rep there knows me i asked him a few days ago and he said he had nothing and no news. and then i asked him again today and he had one. he said he opened up their shippment and seen the box full of them along with some of the HTC one as well. he let me check out the moto droid i can say it feels very solid mostly metalish and the slide may take some getting use to since right now im spoiled by the slide on my PSP GO the slide on the go is so much more awesome because its a spring slide where as the moto droid is not spring. but regardless the phone is awesome too bad he couldnt sell me one today i have an upgrade ready to go when this launches next friday. cant wait. another odd note was he did tell me that the HTC rep was there a few days ago saying that the new HTC droid was loaded with the newest firmware i'm assuming that's 2.0 not to sure i didn't get to use the htc droid.
I just got off the phone with a verizon rep who was unable to find that sku in their system. She then started asking if it was a phone that has not been released yet and said if it was that was probably why it did not show up for her.
Nothing down with a scaled down Droid phone for the less savvy.
It will launch on Nov. 6th along with the Motorola Droid. This is info from the Equipment Guide and it will be $99 after rebate. The SKU is correct. Alot of stores do have them in stock already as well as the Motorola Droid.
when I searched for Eris on the website, it set my default phone to HTC DROID ERIS, so it obviously already has that phone somewhere in their system...
