BlackBerry Curve 8530 brings optical trackpad to Verizon
Twinning nicely with its 8520 counterpart currently available on T-Mobile, RIM's BlackBerry Curve 8530 marks the brand's new low-end full QWERTY device with a 2 megapixel camera, 528MHz "next generation" core and QVGA display all paired up with EV-DO and WiFi, marking Verizon's newfound commitment to launching WiFi on BlackBerrys that we first saw on the Storm2. It's got a full 256MB of storage on board (expandable with 32GB microSD cards, theoretically, when they're available) and is going to see duty in your choice of black or "smoky violet" -- just hold out for November 20, when it'll materialize for $99.99 on contract after rebate.

People really loves to spam things ! Even with things that are tottally nonsense >.>'' Strange ...
"Report" comment!
OMG its... its... its... the same f'in BB. How many of the same BB's are they going to make. No wonder why only people that have to buy them do. This is the same BB that I had almost 6 years ago. WHOOPPPPPPPY
That's not spam. Given Motorola's track record of buggy code, that is more likely the new Droid device gone rogue.
Someone that has nothing to do, comment two times here before me '-' ~ with a link and somethings to sell -something like clothes- that has nothing with cellphones or even less with technology. So that was the spam D:.
:/
so since it runs on verizon, who's whole network's 3g AND has wifi this is the better choice over the one on t-mobile unless verizon doesn't work in ur area, if only sprint dropped this i'd probly get it in a heartbeat, maybe...
my contract is up with them so i'm still shopping around for who to go to, what to get, and whatnot, its a blessing and a curse that its happened right around the holiday shopping season though when new stuff is coming out constantly
Sprint is dropping this but the question is when. It would be ridiculous for them to drop this next year.
Sprint has only said they will get the Tour 2 along with Verizon (Essex). They have not said anything about the Curve 2. Sprint never even launched the Pearl Flip (Pearl 2 you could say). Our store has sold tons of those.
needs a better camera and MEH
Do blackberries have threaded sms yet? and not in a purchasable application but stock. If so I'm considering buying one.
yes...Blackberry's have threaded SMS. You just go to SMS options and change the number of previous entries from 0 up to 50.
