Windows Marketplace for Mobile updates tackle piracy, adds online store for non-mobile browsers
Windows Mobile 6.5 users rejoice, you now have a better marketplace experience your way. Microsoft's added a couple updates to its mobile app store. On the developers' side of things there's a new portal for submission, and "more advanced anti-piracy protection" -- no clue if it solves those DRM issues we heard about before, but sounds at least like a step in the right direction. For the consumers, there's now an online store that you can use from your certainly superior desktop / laptop browser. In the vein of Xbox Live Marketplace's online portal at Xbox.com, purchased apps from the browser will be sent to the connected phone next time you open up the Windows Marketplace client... what's that? You want support for Windows Mobile 6.0 and 6.1? Microsoft reassures us it's coming later this month, so hang tight, okay?

Hi guy's,
Thanks for sharing nice information.Good Work.keep it up.........
Microsoft's "My Phone" is another useful service for Windows Mobile 6+ phones.
With password protected My Phone, you can:
* Back up your phone automatically (contacts, calendar, texts messages, tasks, photos, videos, browser favs, docs etc).
* Access and manage your contacts, text messages and more online for free.
* Locate your lost phone by map and/or forced ring....also if necessary, delete phone contents.
* Easily install/sync phone data and info on a new phone.
* Share photos on your favorite social networking sites.
Google "Microsoft My Phone" or go here:

i used to use it but there is no way (at least that i could find) to determine what it should sync back to the phone and what it shouldn't. i hard reset my phone and wanted my calendar and contacts and stuff but not the couple thousand text messages i had saved on there. it proceeded to send me old messages randomly with my new ones up until i finally got a new phone. i bet if i turned the old one on now and hooked it up it would still receive the old messages.
You can select My Phone to synch ONLY the content you select.
By default, My Phone automatically syncs contacts, calendar items, tasks, text messages, browser favorites, photos, videos, music, and documents.
To edit the list of content that you want synced
1. Click Start > Programs > Microsoft My Phone > Menu > Options.
2. You’ll see a list of the different types of content. My Phone will sync only the content that you select.
Instructions here: http://sn1-p2.myphone.microsoft.com/mkweb/Help.po?tsid=1258032600808
Note:
My Phone will not DUPLICATE info synced with a Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) account.
If you already sync your contacts, calendar appointments, or tasks with an EAS account, you can’t sync them with My Phone to avoid conflicts with your Exchange account.
over at XDA they have the marketplace in app form for anyone not yet on 6 or 6.1 that doesn't want to wait for MS to finally getting around to releasing it for everyone. i've been using it for about a week now and it works like a charm. can't say much about the amount of content on there but there are a couple good apps.
thanks I guess I'm a looooooser for only having 6.1
