BlackBerry Internet Service stricken with global outages?

Looks like BlackBerry Internet Services is having a rough night, with a number of sites reporting it being down not just in North America, but also elsewhere around the world. A handful of tipsters have expressed similar issues, and though we've had some weirdness with our service tonight, it seems to be working well enough. I just bought the bold 9700 this morning and exchanged it for a different unit late tonight (central time) cause of some weird connection performance. I was able to connect on some apps on my phone without a problem but a lot of my other apps couldn't connect at all. I thought it was the phone and so did the tmobile rep who I spoke with. I guess its the network itself. Up until now I'm still having connection problem. I still hope its the the phone cause I really like the bold! ;)
Seattle, AT&T was out for a few hours tonight - at least 5pm to 7/8pm PST.
Sucks. I have been trying to install programs after a hard reset all afternoon and have wondered why they have been so difficult to download.
It's definitely effecting my service on T-Mobile.
I'm in East TX and mine has been having significant issues all day. After a cold reset, I can get one web page to load and then it refuses to load anything else. Pandora app works great but my browser, app store, and proprietary email software doesn't work at all and hasn't for the majority of the day.
I'm in Canada and at least 10 BIS users I spoke to couldn't browse either, including my CDMA Storm.
My BBM wasn't working earlier when I was trying to message my gf. I have a Sprint Tour and my gf has AT&T Curve
BBM is working now, and my browser and email has been working all day!
I'm in Upstate NY (near Albany) and I didn't experience any outages at all today. I'm on the Sprint network and I've been using mine periodically throughout the day with no issues. All of my messages have been pushed, I've streamed iHeartRadio, and also Pandora.
I just added BIS to my wife's sprint curve today. Came home tonight to test and it wouldn't work. Called Sprint and it started working while on the phone. Off the phone and it quit again. When I called them back the tech said his wasn't working either. Checked my AT&T curve and was getting the same things. Some apps would work but browser was a no-go.
yep even in trinidad it was down yesterday evening from 6 pm till 10 pm
Yesterday I was having on and off connecting problems with the browser and Facebook wouldn't connect to save a life. However the email, SMS, MMS, phone, and Windows Messanger were working fine for me.
Using a Blackberry Storm 9530 on Verizon in Mid-Ohio.
Yea, i had issues last night from about 5pm central til about 2 am... or whenever it kicked back in. though, it was intermittent.
My curve 8900 on at&t was having problems connecting to the internet all day yesterday until around 9 at night. I would open the browser and it would just say requesting...until eventually i would get an error message saying a communication failure has occured.
is there an app that shows a network status?
Maybe not an app, but def a map. Warning AT&T will sue you if you downoad it.
(I have AT&T, so I can talk shit lol)
