BlackBerry service acting a fool today?

We've gotten sporadic reports today that BlackBerry service -- possibly just BIS -- has been down for at least a period today, which would amazingly mark the fourth time a serious outage has occurred in RIM's fortress in just the past several weeks. That's bad for any device, but it's particularly tragic for a platform that has staked its reputation on reliability. What's everyone seeing out there right now?

I haven't had any issues receiving emails at all (either BIS or BES).
One thing that I did notice earlier today though...
Any email that I was receiving was showing "received using" my "blackberry.net" email address rather than the actual email address that it was being sent to (my personal @gmail.com email address).
I removed the emails and re-added them on the BIS side and it's seemed to be working fine since then.
