Telus teasing a June 8 launch -- the HTC Triumph, perhaps?
So the popular rumor going around at the moment is that Telus is on the verge of releasing a Canada-flavored HTC Desire rebranded as the "Triumph," which seems pretty reasonable considering that the carrier has made no effort to launch the Nexus One and undoubtedly wants to pimp as many awesome phones as it can right now to drum up usage of its nascent HSPA network. This all lines up nicely with the fact that Telus' home page is now teasing an "unleashing" on June 8, less than two weeks from today. Sounds like a win -- provided they can keep the three-year contract price in check, of course.

link to where this exists on the TELUS site?
So much for rumor July/August if true, would be awesome news.
The Desire/Incredible is going to take over the world
Three-year contract? Way too long for a phone... Even two years is a little much.
@npkimmey Welcome to our maple-syrup induced, monopoly-riddled nightmare. I'm one of the lucky ones. I've been with one carrier for quite some time so I'm able to go mtm with a reasonable insider plan. Still though; the concept of having a contract is so effing archaic.
I hope this a Telus branded Incredible. I'd buy this instead of an Evo. That was originally my plan, but the good thing is this will work in Canada.
@npkimmey
no kidding.. you have to get a 3 year contract if you want a decent price though in canada. it horrible.
It's the 4th gen iPhone. I wish!
I WANT A GOOD ANDROID PHONE IN CANADA. Is that too much to ask? This better have a decent off contract price like the Evo($450).
@ChechenTDG
Rogers just released the Acer Liquid E.
@donv69
To be honest with you the liquid e is a goo smartphone, but it's not for me. I want a phone like the Evo or Incredible.
@donv69 I'll take the Milestone thank you very much. Slide out QWERTY. :)
Is this not on Telus.com and not Telusmobility.com? If so, I don't think its another phone, although I hope it is!
There are billboards showing the same theme as the Telus website. With both the billboards and the Telus website, there is a white/grayish background with what looks like dog prints? If it is dog prints, I don't see the connection to an Android phone?
@MrDrezzUp maybe they are merging with Fido/Rogers. LMAO
@Chris Ziegler
Link to where this is.
Sorry to disappoint everyone but this has NOTHING to do with TELUS MOBILITY.. but more so for their IPTV Service... can anyone say Mediaroom 2.0

I didn't really know what to think the image was, but when I read the idea that they were dog prints I started to ask myself what type of prints might indicate the HTC Desire/Triumph. Then I remembered that it is using the snapdragon processor, and found a theory that supports my hopes. Maybe they are dragon prints!
