Great Show!

hi guys
a quick comment about your comments about video chat... that its been around for a long time... well, thats yes and no. It has but it has NOT been free, or more accurately, it has been very expensive up till now. Many people chat to their families via video skype, and having your laptop on your lap for an hour is no problem. You could just as easily place your camera somewhere, you dont have to break your arm holding it up to your face for hours ;)
cheers guys,
Mark, UK.
guys, at 1:17:30 you were talking about the iphone keyboard being the best bar none? Hmmm, I have tested my wife's iphone vs my HTC Hero keyboard, and with the HTC keyboard, I can type EVERY SINGLE KEY incorrectly (on purpose) and it iwill almost always guess correctly.
Also with the iPhone
- you cannot enter the cursor in the middle of a misspelled word, easy with the Hero trackball.
- there is no comma or full stop on main page (duh!)
- there is no press and hold to get numbers etc
- not seem to autofill with previous info like your email address, so have to enter it again and again
so I would say the HTC keyboard is far better than the iPhone one.
I am suffering from insomnia of late, and listened to this podcast at 2 am this morning. Really, really enjoyed it!!!! However, it failed to put me to sleep like most of the other podcasts around (NOT Engadget's!) :) Keep up the great work, you are the best and most amusing!
Ok I love all the amazing smartphone discussion but I hope that there is some discussion about slightly lower tier models. I personally still want a e52 but am having trouble finding out if I should spend money on it. It isn't available in the US with a warranty and I'm about to buy from expansys or similar site but I can't be certain it is worth it. Most reviews read identical to e72 reviews. Since the e73 is going to be made is it reasonable to assume that there will be a e53? My only fear is how well it will work as my podcast player. Any insight would be appreciated. Also is there a reliable way to flash carrier branded series 40 devices, I'm not running into much luck on afterdawn or the rest of the net?
@cavemailman
Ok i found one very technical forum dreamstrikes.com haven't got a clue how to do it yet. I will keep plugging away.
@cavemailman
Sorry to keep adding more but I have one last question. I am curious what device/platform you would recommend instead of the e52/e72. My main points are primarily phone calls, time management/productivity, battery life, podcast listening (hopefully with wired headphone controls), and not too large. Would you recommend RIM? I also don't want a carrier branded device from my terrible experience with them. Thanks for helping.
P.S. I wish I could have edited my first post, that might have made this easier
