AT&T's LG Prime and Pantech Ease in the wild?

If the Pursuit isn't up your alley, it looks like Pantech's got a slightly higher-end phone in store for you: the Ease. We know next to nothing about it, but it's clearly got a more spacious keyboard than its kid brother -- and the silver highlights are a little more businesslike than green and blue. From LG, we've got a phone called the Prime that looks as though it could be a keyboardless (and arguably better-looking) version of the Vu Plus. No dates or prices on these, but dummies are out and about, so it can't be long. See more in the gallery below.

Update: We've been told by two independent sources that the Ease is actually geared toward the older set -- first we've really seen a full touchscreen phone do that -- and the Prime is destined for AT&T's prepaid GoPhone service with a 2 megapixel cam. Thanks, guys!

We got about a dozen in our store today of the ease. Looks pretty decent. I can't imagine old folks using it- they're afraid enough as it is.

@neoaddict I agree, it has Breeze mode on it or ease mode of you will, I personally think it's a nicer qmd then most of the phones AT&T has to offer. I've been playing with one at my store this past week and the touch screen is quite responsive, also it may be for the more daring blue hair... Oh and engadget it cones this Sunday along with the aria, Vu plus and prime.

For a company notorious for making ugly phones, and for a phone targeted at the older crowd, Pantech had done a great job with this one. I might pick one up for my mom who is not into tech stuff but wouldn't stand a Jitterbug-like phone.

am i the only one who thinks these phones are ugly?
and i didn't know anyone was making java phones anymore.
