your probably right.. thousands of youtube videos of people replicating the issue.. hundreds of blogs confirming the issue including the one your reading now, consumer reports findings, the class action lawsuit, apple coming out and finally admitting it giving away free cases to fix the problem, and the common sense that every cell phone antenna ever has been encased in plastic because of the risk of bridging the antenna losing signal if touched by a bare hand are all a bunch of BS
jesus christ apple could have sold itouches and labeled them as iphones and apple fanboys would still say they have no problems making or receiving calls.. what the hell else proof do you need
In Halifax I got my iPhone 4 painlessly. Bithere was only 11 in stock :p

Hey Canadians, I'm not sure if you heard but there is a slight problem with the reception issue. Ya see, you can't quite hold it like you held your previous mobile. No, Steve changed the game once again and revolutionized the way this (and future) generations will forever hold a phone!
And other than that, nothing is really wrong with the phone. Although for some reason you are going to get a FREE CASE!!!!, even though there are NO problems with the reception on this phone. Apple is just that nice to it's customers!
All these people r haters just because they can't get the iPhone I have had mine since it came out and I don't have Any problems with it. But it did get me a free case
Funny how there was this HUGE issue and so much bashing on iPhone 4, yet it's still selling like it's the best thing ever to happen in technology!
Best phone I've ever had. You android fanboys are the biggest dicks. I love my iPhone 4. I respect what google is doing with android. Just please don't be ignorant fucks all the time.
@MikeyBoy117 I'm with you. I've been trying to get into Android with every new major phone release, because people keep passing it off as the greatest thing ever. And their is always something wrong with each phone or with Android itself. After being on the iPhone for 2 years, I've just grown to love how polish the Apps and OS are. I love the face that developers take their time to produce great apps and update them almost daily with extra new free features. And I love Cydia. If I can't find an app in Apples store, I just go on Cydia and I'll always be able to find something. App Store + Cydia = Win.
@Kaezul Same as lads! I've got mates who have phones running androyed and even the wish they had an iPhone!! I loved my 3G but I love my 4 even more!
The iPhone is by no means perfect. I personally don't like it.. Overrated tbh. But this proves that Apple has brainwashed the masses into believe it IS a perfect phone, that is IS the quota, despite its most hindering drawbacks. Free bumpers? That isn't a clue that there was an issue? Maybe someday you'll be smart enough to see that Jobs has used inception on you.
@Randall Well then what out there is a perfect phone? Please do share. Or is it that *gasp* there is NO perfect phone? And that people buy this phone because they LIKE it?!?! Or maybe because the "i" series is supported by damn near everything? Or how about the big companies making specific apps just for the iphone and not the competitors?

I only got 6 16G phones...I have like 24 on back order...WTF?? I understand the bigger city centers need more phones but come on 6??? Those were sold in less than an hr...as we had people waiting before the purolator shipment even arrived.
People really are clueless these days about what is a good value. The Apple company does a better job at marketing hype than they do in actually creating products.
It is a great thing that 99.9% of all "popular" iphone apps are now available on the Android platform. These are the apps that matter.
Apple as a company will not be nearly as successful as they are now within a couple years.
Their 45 page privacy policy is darn right scary. If anyone cares about their privacy, don't buy an iphone.

@ElectroGuru 99.9%? You sure about that? Thats actually one of the reasons I'm not on Android. They just don't have the same polish apps that I care about. And if they do, they usually have a worse version of it.
@ElectroGuru I have an htc hero with Android 2. 2 and the apps aren't nearly as good, Facebook for example? It's shit on Android and I want more polish on my apps and OS so that's why I am finally moving to Apple.
I don't have an iphone 4 at the moment, but i will get one soon...i must say that i fucking love my iphone 3g with ios 4.0
And i know some guys which have android phones and they all said the same thing when they witnessed the power of iPhone: "it's very cool, but i don't need that...i just want a phone"

Android apps have come a longggggg way since even the Moto Droid was released.
Big businesses and everyone is jumping on the Android bandwagon. That is a fact.
Besides, there is no way I would have a curly 3.5 inch screen sized phone again. That is for a girl/child's hand. LOL
After going to the DX from the DI and then messing with the DI again which has a 3.7 inch screen, I don't know how on earth I actually got by on that funky screen.
Apple phones are officially for women and skinny, long haired guys who look like women. lol

I don't get it. Why do the apple fanboys and android boys have to attack each other? One phone being great doesn't mean the other isn't great. We Canadian certainly know the antennagate and luckily, here in Canada get better signal strength than the US. So the reception isn't really a big issue. However, the data transmission seems like being affected more...

Look no matter what Apple does they will continue to dig their own grave. I mean it does have some great features but white or not the iPhone 4 has major design flaws. Design should never come before function and usability. Apple seems to have forgotten that.
I mean the iPhone 4 held the number one spot in the top ten ranking on pc world. Once Apple gave that press conference they took it down with out explanation. However, http://getyourgadgetsgoing.com/ took a look into it. The results are rather interesting.

I don't know why these magical Android phones are not being offered in other countries. Telcos in other countries do want to make money too, by offering something better than iPhone, then why are they not carryingthese magical Android phones. Why is it that in Canada we don't see that many Android phones, why in Canada only geeks are carrrying Android phones. You wanna hear the truth, in US if iPhones were sold by most of the cell operators then you wouldn't see people buying all these Android phones. Apple is in a doing a favour to Google by only selling through shitty AT&T, otherwise they would have monopolised the market. It might be something hard to digest for the Android geeks, but it is the truth.
