T-Mobile getting BlackBerry Curve 3G 'in the coming weeks'
"In the coming weeks" seems to be a pretty popular phrase when talking about upcoming phone availability these days, and T-Mobile USA is keeping with the trend today in talking about the just-announced BlackBerry Curve 3G from RIM. Beyond saying that it'll be available in "smoky violet" and "graphite grey," T-Mobile really isn't giving any hints on pricing or retail date -- for all we know, it could be August or September -- so that 8520 is just going to have to last you a few more days. EDGE data must be feeling slower than ever now, eh?

Phone isn't much to get excited about but I am REALLY digging that "Smoky Violet" color! Love the blackberry colors they come out with, I just wish I loved the smartphones also.
Everytime I see a new Blackberry being released I think to myself, "Isn't that the same phone that was released two years ago?"
@benthe1
100% agree. The form factor is getting quite old. I know this is what their known for but to spend so much $ on minor tweeks..eh.
I had to play around with the newest curve on Sprint a month ago....abysmal is the word I would use to describe it.
Blackberries suck and so does t mobile bottom line
@LaWd MoUf T-Mobile doesn't suck, you do. T-Mobile is the Best!
Yes Blackberry ok fine you have a "good" formfactor..spend some revenue on upgraiding I.e 1ghz processors 8mp camera better GUI touch screen etc...why anyone upgrades on blackberrry idk....
Wait, what? When does a phone make the news because it's 3G data capable? I will never understand the Blackberry ecosystem.
So... this is basically a bold 9700? lol
Blackberry's is stone age devices. Need 2 get with da program. I couldn't imagine owning a Blackberry.
They aren't meant for teens like you. They are 2nd ahead of the iphone. I think they must be doing something right.
Why would the curve not have 3g?? Sprint and vzw had 3g curves with the first one
