Who besides teenaged girls and Hollywood tartlets owns a Sidekick?
Am I still the only one who doesn't see the U500 on the USA toshiba page....
Jeff,

Thank you for clearing up the only, I REPEAT, the only error is Ken's entire piece. All of Ken's posts go through rigorous vetting processes with a cadre of experts and their multitude of assistants making sure that even slight inaccuracies are corrected.

I cannot imagine how this glaring and potentially devastating error could have slipped through. Unless of course they was assbuggery mentioned. In which case these experts and their assistants were likely running a train on the slip and slide while chain hitting X and drinking Absinthe. Which rarely every happens. On Tuesdays at least.

Again, thank you for caring so much about the facts that you missed the point entirely. The forest is safe, it's hidden by the trees.

Your's truly,
Grim
Apple didn't defend the look and feel of their OS vs Microsoft because they stole it from Xerox... Opening that can of worms wouldn't have been very prudent.
Lin... First off, try to not accuse people of being insensitive and rude in posts if you aren't sure of what they are suggesting you do and are making a very practical suggestion to you.

If you run Firefox (if not it takes 2 minutes to install) go to Tools, then select options. Click on the Content tab (has a world icon in the newest build of Firefox) and in the middle of the tab there is a "Fonts and Colors" option. One of the drop down boxes, labeled "Size" will allow you to increase or decrease the FONT SIZE that is displayed in the browser. This allows people of all abilities and disabilities to have a beneficial viewing experience.

Websites don't show up the same on every monitor either. Why doesn't Engadget make their website friendlier to widescreen monitor owners?!? Why not set it to 1600x1200?!? Because you can do that yourself ;)

If for some reason you can only use another webbrowser, I'm sure they all have a similar option that you can find in the 2 minutes of poking around that it took me to solve this problem. Problem solved, no need to rewrite the site code guys!
Guys... the lens can pick up ranges in the spectrum that our eyes can't see... the software most likely identifies these portions of the image and converts them into a part of the spectrum we can see... The camera taking a picture of ultraviolet doesn't mean we can suddenly see it... think night vision cameras. The information is already there, they just adapt it to something our eyes can utilize.
Mike r: you seem to be well versed in volunteering for good causes. Please donate your talents and passion to removing all sticks from peoples' nether regions. Once the stick-from-butt removal is complete, the world will be safe once again for zombie invasions!!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
