I agree with the mini-usb comment - perfectly standard connector. and iphone non-3g - well yep it's not. but to call Windows Mobile an open OS...? c'mon, are you serious?
i have to ask, am i the only one who sees some wisdom in initially locking down the iphone to only the standard set of software...? Doesn't it make sense to wait until say 100,000 iphones are out there and all is well, that then the next step can be made with 3rd party apps? ...just curious, as it seems so logical to me, but seemingly nobody else... :)
oh please, HTC are so second rate - i should know as i bought the XDA Atom. Second rate from hardware quality (buzzing flickering screens, battery, etc), to their choice of software partners. One thing in their defense, when not actually touching their devices but just looking at them from a distance - they do look pleasing. Shame things don't stay that way once you get hands-on with them.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
