Seeing same issues in Chicagoland area... if they can't "deliver" my world in under 30 minutes shouldn't it be free?
played with one of these at best buy for a good half hour, definitely no fm radio, but i hear it's not too difficult to install, picked up my at&t configurations easily. can't comment on 3g strength because i was in a crappy signal area to begin with but i still had signal and was able to get online. screen looked good except for it needed a cleaning. Also didn't get to see the weather app in action so not sure if it works on these unlocked models. Asked guy about price matching and he said sure... he went online and saw it on buy.com for $550 and said he'd match it... I know, right? Also got to play with Sprint's Touch Pro, hate what they did to the back and that extra glassy cover on the front. Feels solid though, this and Fuze should be better than Mogul/Tilt as far as flimzy slide "white screen" problems go hopefully.
who cares... don't get me wrong, these devices will porbably be amazing, but no carrier in the U.S. has the brains... or the balls to pick up a Nokia device like this.
had a defective one for awhile... would love a fresh start
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
