you've got to be joking me.. yet another waste of government time and funds
This $139 price tag being thrown around is very misleading --

This phone costs $450. IF you are eligible for a discount, and a mail-in rebate, then that will bring the cost down. So you need to call and ask about your eligibility before heading to the store... if you don't mind paying $450.
Well after owning this phone for a whole... day... here are my thoughts on it.

I was not happy having to pay almost full retail price for it, after being a good customer for so many years, but I did anyway because I demo'ed the phone and fell in love with it.

For me, the biggest things were the outstanding GPS navigation and live search features. This thing really is good enough to replace a standalone GPS unit for the car. The speech recog is also pretty good.

I'm not that fond of the web browser, but, I'm assuming that can be upgraded so I'm HOPING they iron out the kinks and push out an update to address the issues that pop up.

Five years??

I'm guessing they are single
I am a big fan of Ubuntu, but, I do agree with Mossberg. I have been using Linux on and off since the early 90s, and currently Ubuntu is my favorite desktop/workstation flavor of Unix. I think what Mossberg is doing is giving constructive critism; lets hope it helps advance Linux in general to the "next level"
I don't know what LL uses, but we have been using a (Cisco) VoIP system for 3 years and have had only one unplanned outtage... took a whole 20 minutes to fix.
I've always believed that griefers (on the main grid) are probably kids that found their way to the main grid. So perhaps age verification will do something to help.

Now I'm not naive enough to think there aren't any adult griefers. Those people are just plain pathetic.
I actually enjoy shopping at CC and am interested to see what they'll do. It needs to be more than a 3D billboard, though...
Just change the settings for your friends so they can't see when you go online... with the eyeball thing.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
