I thought the E61i was better than both the E61 and E62 so the I is not always a bad thing.
Or like last weeks NYC Nokia N97 Party, a mix of reporters, novice bloggers, fanboys, curious parties, people who just wanted to win the phone and regular site visitors who wanted to get drunk for free.

I have never been to a release party like that one where I saw so many people so drunk, admitting they just wanted to win a free phone and take advantage of a free open bar.

Sadly, some of those phones went straight up on craigslist and ebay too.

How is this the Dash 3G? The Dash was just the HTC Excalibur and then HTC released the Cavalier, which was Dash, updated with better features and 3G added. Given it wasn't T-Mo 1700 3G, but still. Just because T MO is behind the ball doesnt mean they have to get it wrong.
Man, my ex would LOVE this phone. She is a make up artist and I could see her loving the form factor and the way it looks like a compact.

She cares more about looks over function.
Its so sad that these companies mark up the price so much. My ex girlfriends family owns Tourneau here in NYC and in other states/countries and they were willing to fully ice out some of my previous phones for around $1,000 when I was quoted over $5,000 at some other places.

I think its a cool idea. Working in the field for the time I did, I spent no money on every phone, so it might have been worth it. I like the way the E71 looks in that pic above.
SMS is still a growing trend??
I like 6.5 and obviously this phone is running it, but I have to assume that it has to be a PPC and not just a smartphone. I cant imagine 6.5 without the touchscreen. The only problem with 6.5 is that the today screen is as is and you cannot customize it like you could with 6.1 and TF3D.
You are 100% right, I worked for a company here in NYC and we sold both colors in the NAM version since it came out last year.
Service was fine here in NYC but went to see the woman in North NJ and couldnt get 3G and the EDGE was low. Once I got back into NYC, all was good.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
