You say that someone might be crazy for passing over the Eris when it only cost $20 more but they also have to think about the extra cost of a data plan as well. If they don't want a data plan than its really likely that someone is going to pass over any Droid device for this.

Yea, That's what i noticed too. Last I heard, Android 2.0 wouldn't be released until 2010. Can anyone confirm that it will be shipping with Android 2.0?
Last I heard, Android 2.0 wasn't coming out till 2010. But the firmware version shows 2.0. Does that mean that Android 2.0 will be release this year?
Why should they offer Facebook, Twitter, and Last.fm for free? They code the apps so they work on the xbox in the comfort of your living room while setting on your couch, they should get some money for that. Add last I checked there are adds in facebook, twitter, and all over last.fm. Why do you think they are free to you? Its not because they are doing you a huge favor. They saw a business and the business was..Allow people to connect to friends but display adds on every page they go to. Thats how the business model works. When they have an app that runs on things like xbox they don't have adds but facebooks still wants their money, so they charge xbox for it, who turns around and charges you for it. You people are getting a service provided to you so stop complaining. Even if you get it for free on your computer, they are charging someone. Don't think its coming to you as a free gift that somebody isn't eating the cost for.
You guys almost make it sound like its a good thing that verizon buys out everyone. Don't get me wrong, I like verizon wireless, I've been with them for 4 years but once everyone is out of the way they can raise their prices cause they don't have any competition and we have a monopoly.
tra la la...LOL.. i have to laugh because I leave comments with Verizon all the time. I've never seen one of my comments implemented. Besides, Verizon customers start to feel like they are being nickel n dimed when other major carriers offer similar services for nothing. LOL.. I don't even want to get into all the things they have tried to charge me for, which after several phone calls I've been able to convince them to reverse the charges. Don't get me wrong, I know Verizon is in a busines to make money but they are making money, sometime its just good go give back to loyal customers by offering perks. When a company offers perks it makes you feel important and you are more likely to be loyal and stay with them, I don't think anyone can argue with that.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
