@ainsi10 And what are you going to watch it on? Sure, I could pirate my eBooks, but I prefer reading them on a device with a screen that looks like text on paper, and lasts for a week without requiring a charge, and allows me to get books anywhere.

It's not just the content. The device itself is pretty awesome and makes it way easier to read than whatever you're reading your pirated PDFs on.
Yes, it would defeat the entire purpose. If you had read about the service that the post is referring to, you'd see that the benefit is that you can stream and play games anywhere on any device at any time. The whole point is to NOT have to download something, and not just on your cell phone.

Your home network speeds really have nothing to do with this.
According to the OnLive FAQ, you need only 5Mbps for 720p games. This makes it much more accessible than you believe. Most people have at least that much or can get it for fairly cheap.

Where did you get your figures? Here's where I got mine: http://www.onlive.com/service/faq.html
I'm pretty sure that tweet you link to has nothing to do with realm maintenance. As you can see, they said that they were doing maintenance for "Account Management" which is when you login to manage your account WorldofWarcraft.com or Battle.net.

The forum post you linked to is definitely referencing the emergency server maintenance, but the tweet is quite obviously referring to something completely different.
Their service has been broken ever since the launch was announced on WorldofWarcraft.com yesterday. I've never been able to see an image of my character despite the numerous times I've tried.

If you'd like to give it a shot yourself, click the link directly from the WorldofWarcraft.com post. It seems like they're allow users that click through their to bypass the new "coming soon" page that popped up later today.
I wonder how long it will be before we see a story about Microsoft Store employees changing their shirt colors to be matching, as well.
Yes, if you've ever installed a version of Google Chrome that did not support importing, you won't be prompted to import when using this new build.

Remove the Application and the Chrome folder under the Google folder in Application Support in your Library then re-install it. Run it and you should get the prompt to import your data.
Mike Schramm is my hero.
Maybe the evil is stricken from Arthas as he dies. Instead of grasping for "power" he's grasping for humanity. He's embarrassed and ashamed of what he's done and he's trying to hide his face.
Can you elaborate a bit on what you mean? Unfortunately just saying that something doesn't appear to be so without providing any information is just providing completely useless information.

As you'll see in my comment, I provide an example as to what makes me believe that he cares about the users but if you could provide some similar information that contradicts that, I'd definitely be interested to read it!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
