It looks like a Radio Shack...
The black version still won't make me want to buy it.
May want to update the headline a bit... lol. "on contract" I was going to purchase the device as I am "on contract"

Happy Holidays... holla @ ya boy! I'd love to go back to the Nokia world.
Maybe 'cupcakes' signify how sweet of an update it's going to be...
I think it is due to the pricing of messaging plans in the US vs. Europe. Heck, I had unlimited for free on Sprint, why wouldn't I text.
The fact that it says "Obama will be our next President" may actually be a hint that it is coming to the U.S.!!!
They are actually giving the Bold some breathing room. AT&T first. We win. :-)
I could have sworn you could order this device if you call up to business care. :)
I believe this is for AT&T.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
