In for the prizes
As beautiful as this look, my touch diamond will stay in my pocket until we can confirm it'll work with WM7 *AND* if I choose, android.
note to self: don't bother visiting engadget tomorrow, the rampant fanboyism will make you sick on contact.
Almost certainly a whole new lineup in Jan. Calpella being the nehalem platform. All dual channel DDR3, 2 chip (southbridge+CPU) solution. Should save quite a bit of power over core2 based designs.
This is the same battery as the CDMA version is getting by default.

I wonder what they are doing for the space behind the cover NOT the battery. It cant be empty. If the bat is the same size, why get a new cover? Maybe its just a little thicker.
Love mine

GPS for geotagging would be nice (not required, but nice).
fullframe is a pipedream in this price body, at current sensor prices.
honestly, wouldnt change anything. I dont use live view, but the few times I have its been useful.
Its an SLR, the kit lens is just that. Plop a $80 50/1.8II on it if you want faster. Itd even be cheaper than the camera with kit on it.

Also,
anybody think if I send this in as a news item if engadget would quit printing stupidity?

I already bought mine.
been there for a month+
Had my order in for weeks.
agreed. Adding 128MB of RAM to my mogul would be enough for me to upgrade to.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
