Thank you, thank you very much
“The iPhone is the greatest is the greatest cell phone ever created”

That pretty much speaks for itself pretty much speaks for itself
Paris Hilton and the iphone, both WAY overexposed.

But which one would you want to multi-touch?
Vodafone? Why can't they give a couple of options over here?
@ tim

Looks like I struck a nerve!
Congrats on mastering the search button. Just what exactly is your definition of a troll? And why are you so obsessed with the concept? The psychological term is transference, you might want to consult a professional about it.
You seem to have no problem with name calling or making negative comments, aren't you fitting into that category yourself?

As to my other comments? Isn't that the whole point of this site? Most of your response deals with your obsession with trolls or irrelevancies on the names of corporate entities.
Who the hell cares?

The relevant point is that the iphone is based on an old technology and Apple (corp. or Inc.) makes it out as though it's first time this has been done.

As in “there has Never been a phone.......”, Just for reference, the Newton had a Touchscreen.
When it's pointed out that there really isn't anything new to this, 'Trolls' such as yourself will fall back on some version of the Implementation argument. This kind of term is undefinable and is therefore 'Vague'.

“i'd also point out that ANY assertion relating to the *implementation* of the iPhone's touchscreen technology, from a consumer perspective, as of June 20, 2007, is NECESSARILY going to be vague. who exactly do you think has actually USED one of these devices, and would therefore be qualified to comment on its implementation? yeah, i thought so.”

You make my point exactly in your response – with the question

“who exactly do you think has actually USED one of these devices, and would therefore be qualified to comment on its implementation?”

Again, not to belabor the point, since the technology has been around for so long, untold millions of people have used it.
Yes, I know the inevitable response will be that 'it's not Multi-touch technology' – it's the same concept with a different name and the same shortcomings. And it's tiresome because it's the same thing over and over with you people -Apple Trolls (Corp. or Inc.) or iphone idiots.

Don't bother responding if it has anything to do with trolls, corporate abbreviations or anything that wastes everybody's time.
@tim

Note that the 90% of the comment is on irrelevancies.

I also note that you are unable to come up with a real response to the points I've outlined, try again.
This thing is based on Touchscreen technology – first developed in the 1970's – for you iphone idiots, that's over 3 decades ago.

And yet Apple Corp. and you (probably one and the same) act as though they just invented the wheel
It really shouldn't have to be charged – as someone else said before me “It's the first phone powered by Hype”
Well at least after almost a whole day without having to hear about the iphone, we're due to be inundated with this marketing crap from Apple Corp today.

At least it's not the near constant drumbeat of iphone 24/7 on another gadget website that shall be nameless cough* Giz...*Cough
At least hundreds of iphone idiots, Apple employees and stockholders.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
