@SteveG
ROKU has a message up on their FAQ page that the Channel Store will be avilable in the next few weeks. Also that the user cannot force the upgrade, you will recieve it when you receive it. So it is not exactly here as this article makes it sound, at least for the masses.

BTW, PLAYON is on sale thru the end of November for $19.99. The Promo codeword is holiday . Great deal being it is normally twice that!! PlayOn is great, since I got that I do use my ROKU less, that is for sure.In fact my Netgear EVA2000 has become a much more used and versatile device when coupled with PlayOn. Check it out.
While certainly not perfect for the dedicated home theater geek, I have to repeat what I see others saying, WHAT IS?, I have the EVA2000 and love it. I have a second transformer and cable in the bedroom so I can unplug it and carry it upstairs and be operational in the bedroom in less then 60 seconds. The WiFi N is a major plus and does work great. Also with the addition of PlayOn software and the PlugIns available my subject matter is vast. (BTW, should you get the EVA2000 they do offer a 20% discount on PlayOn which is a nice perc.) Setup is also very easy for the average end user and that is important. My Mom can use mine and thats amazing to me in itself..
What was that again? I lift up which finger and say,"HEY APPLE!!"?
Please excuse the above post in error.

Now onto the comment that I meant to make. I have been using this at my Town House outside Washington DC on Verizon and SPRINT as my sole source of Internet. It has performed very well and has been a lifesaver. I was expecting allot more in the way of freezeups and reboots and thankfully have seen neither. Netgear also has a 12 Volt Car Cordso I have placed it in a bag and made it a portable unit for the car as well.

I can also attest that Netgears Engineers are very dilligently working on new drivers for the latest modems and technologies (WIMAX or T-MOBILE anyone? Sorry no deadline) and they are going to fully support this device agressively from the conversations I have had. How sure? I have FEDEXd my own Modems to thyem to help along the process.

I had to share this with someone. I wanted to see why Heorge and Nurse Hataway where sharing their time with that Pre and found an article in an Indian Website. This was horw they described George Clooney:

Since then he has become one of the most sought after actors in Hollywood, starring in blockbuster films like "Ocean's Eleven", "Solaris" and "O Brother, Where Art Thou?.

Man, you have to love it when you get to star in not one Blockbuster but two!!!
Now that would be a great start off to the Christmas Season. I was thinking about accepting XMAS gifts early this year!!
Thanks for the great promo Engadget!
Yes, you can place a USB Hub on the USB Port and connect multiple drives. I have had 3 connected at once without issue. Stand is removable so you can place it in a horizontal configuration. One thing that was not mentioned that I like is the ability to allow a Guest Access. Completely seperate , you can allow say a Guest or Neighbor to have internet access, and while doing so turn on/off access to your intranet. This was a well tought out device with allot of cool "geek"features
Would love to be endowed with a code please
Thank You
I would certainly appreciate this fine piece of kit to replace my0 5 0year old cu0rrent Verizon phone. Thank You VERY MUCH
When shouldI expect it's arrival LOL
re: The CIRRUS Ballistic Parachute
We had a CIRRUS have an Engine Failure on take off in Gaithersburg MD and it worked flawlessly. The great thing was all the 911 calls that all said the same thing. :We just saw the Plane crash and it looked like some guy in a Parachute was falling right behind the plane also".
I believe the CIRRUS Ballistic Parachute has been deployed no less then 5 times, all with 100% success rate. The Ballistic Chute is a very big boon to General Aviation. Now if they can just get one on a Commercial Airline we would be set. But then again, a 747 drifting ever so gently onto your house still may cause some injuries!! If interested, this site has pictures of the plane after the Chute Deployment. It suffered a broken Wing when it landed on a Delivery Truck and a broken Tail Cone. www.FlightAware.com
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
