we might pay a lot in Canada but we actually HAVE A SIGNAL!

I can't believe Americans comment on how we're nuts for paying so much, and then all you get on engadget are Americans complaining of no 3g coverage or dropped calls!

I'd rather pay a bit more and not have dropped calls, AND have 3g.
ya. ok. we have 3 years contracts, and we pay more.
our networks WORK though.

how are led's an advantage over the fitbit?

the fitbit has a text lcd.

I don't have either, but this feels like a plug for an inferior product.
the fitbit is clearly better, doesn't have a monthly cost, and looks sleeker

esxcept the dlink dns323 works.

this is iomega. when has iomega EVER had good support or reliability.

I was screwed one too many times by iomega. NEVER AGAIN.

I live in Toronto and love saying eh.

so many Canadians get so testy about others mentioning it like its a bad thing.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.

"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
