Potential Hydrogen storage techniques:

"Scientists at the Carnegie Institution have found for the first time that high pressure can be used to make a unique hydrogen-storage material. The discovery paves the way for an entirely new way to approach the hydrogen-storage problem. The researchers found that the normally unreactive, noble gas xenon combines with molecular hydrogen (H2) under pressure to form a previously unknown solid with unusual bonding chemistry. The experiments are the first time these elements have been combined to form a stable compound. The discovery debuts a new family of materials, which could boost new hydrogen technologies."

"Los Alamos researchers have been working with University of Alabama colleagues on developing methods for the efficient recycling of ammonia borane. The research team made a breakthrough when it discovered that a specific form of dehydrogenated fuel, called polyborazylene, could be recycled with relative ease using modest energy input. This development is a significant step toward using ammonia borane as a possible energy carrier for transportation purposes."

Didn't they just discover water on the moon?

(yeah, I know, the infrastructure cost is already daunting without adding in a Moon shuttle program, LOL)
Which Li-ion batteries can do that?

Dipping Li-Ion batteries in liquid nitrogen is usually done to render them inert so that they can be safely dismantled (pulverized is perhaps a better term) for recycling.
The entire reason those mass-produced cars have any collectible value at all is because it is assured that the vast majority of them will be lost/destroyed. Rarity increases value.

You should thank them for making the ones you have even more valuable.
"How's that now?"

"Det Norske Veritas and Eidesvik Offshore are developing a vessel based on fuel
cell technology, which means zero emissions of NOx and halved emissions of CO2, as well as a 50 per cent cut in fuel costs. These are encouraging examples that demonstrate the technological possibilities."

Don't forget, that the maritime industry is participating in carbon-credits. The less carbon they emit, the more money they save.
I happen to like cars. I'm surrounded by cars all the time, so I have a vested interest in making sure that they are as clean as they can be. Smog sucks.

I like BEVs, but I understand that they don't work for everyone (me, for example). The only time I need a car is when I'm going somewhere, generally a 6-8 hour road trip. Like Thanksgiving - I'll be driving to TN and making several short visits. A BEV simply wouldn't cut it for that kind of trip when I need to be there and back with very little time to recharge a BEV. Personally, I'd prefer a well-integrated rail system, but...

Although I will be searching out info about what people in Johnson City, Knoxville, and Nashville all think about the Leaf program.

...and by 2020 she predicts that FCVs will be in the $20,000 range.
"...And it was like for a moment, O my brothers, some great bird had flown into the milkbar and I felt all the malenky little hairs on my plott standing endwise and the shivers crawling up like slow malenky lizards and then down again. Because I knew what she sang. It was a bit from the glorious Ninth, by Ludwig van."

"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
