"Ainol"...seriously, that's their name? Damn.
I am sick of hearing people complain about lack of wifi! I agree with Steve that it's nice to have choices, but if you have a blackberry, you have to have a data plan. I've never been in a location that doesn't get good 1XEV signal so I have no need for a battery-draining wifi radio. Granted, I live and work in the DC metro/270 corridor, but still.

Get off the "no wifi", "locked down", "bluetooth crippled" vzw-hate. Most of you don't know what you're talking about and probably aren't vzw customers anyway and want to piss your carrier's competition.

Christ.
And hopefully will be more reliable than his SP-H710AE.
I hope it's been through better quality control than their SP-H710AE projectors. I went through two of them; there was an approximate 20% failure rate on these projectors in the field. They threw a beautiful picture (Joe Kane worked his magic), but the drama of ownership was too painful.
Awww...when I read the "alien" part, I was hoping for a Harry Turtledove "Worldwar" game. Something that maybe wouldn't suck like R:FoM did.
Bah. This was standard issue to Cobra in the mid-80s.

Yo Joe!
Again, everyone posting the http://schmartz.com/main.sc URL is completely missing the point that with the new 2.20 firmware update, that device no longer works as advertised. It was a kludgey power hack before and now it doesn't even do that.

I want one of these IR2BT's for my TSU9600.
Damn you Verizon for constantly dragging your feet.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
