this would make for a nice birthday present!
at least the back has something going on, much unlike the traverse.
i like the new c-class, and thusly was hoping thy would make the new e-class a variant on the c, but they really made it look terrible - didn't resemble a MB on first glance, and the combo of squarish main design with circular accents (the fog lights and the exhaust pipes on some) is just a bad idea, and it seems to me that this car badged as chery might work better. the inside is great, though, so at least they got something correct.
i meant the side panels as in the doors/door handles (they really give it away)
the front and the back look better than the last model, but, like the new f-150 (and the raptor, too), the side panels don't fit with the updated fascias i.m.o. it's not horrible, but it just seems like the design team totally blew off restyling the sides. other than that, i think it's definitely a better car, but yeah, new engines, and maybe a little weight reduction would do this car much good.
i think the front end looks great, but i'm kind of sad they didn't do more to differentiate the side profile from a regular f-150...the door handles and curved top of the cabin give it away and look kind of out of place. the rest is amazing though...the label "american truck" doesn't make me cringe when it's on this one.
if you look at the beginning and end, they're in slighty different places, i would say about 5 seconds apart (he starts the lap near a yellow-ish tall wall, and ends it without seeing that same wall, but the shorter blue wall that comes before the yellow one). i could be wrong, but it looks like it starts and ends in different places. the wall at 4:00 is right before a curve, and when they stop the timing at 11:30 in the video, the curve doesn't show up soon enough.

i'm not pointing this out to bash the gt-r, i think the car is pretty damn amazing, but i think nissan needs to check the time again.
please tell me they'll have it on a diet, too. that car is WAY too heavy for its own good.
nice move apple, way to promote your own os (the itunes shown is the windows version)
the functionality is pretty damn cool, but it takes only the biggest corporations (gm) to completely forget about design, or the fact that screens don't need an inch of lovely plastic border around them anymore (i'm looking at you, original flat screen monitors)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
