"you can just assume when you come back, your front and rear bumper will be trashed"

heh, the new yorker response to that is: "that's what bumpers are for!"
True it may or may not be good enough for live tracking like sector times but as long as it's accurate enough and gathering the correct data, it should be good enough for after-the-fact lap times and other stats, maybe even exit and entry speeds? Which would still be pretty cool to know.
Eh, I just got back from a few weeks in Spain and had a diesel Peugeot while there. I did not like the way it drove at all. Maybe it was just a small engine but with a low 4500 rpm redline, and lots of twisty, turny (fun to drive) mountain roads, I found myself constantly having to shift to keep in the powerband. It also tended to bog and was not as responsive as a gas engine (ok, maybe that was a crappy throttle and/or Peugeot engineering heh).

Yeah, it's just one example, but it was a pain.
Marketing to Wall Street...haha. Last year a local BMW dealer had an ad that read "My bonus is faster than your bonus" with a pic of the M6 below.

I've seen none of that this year!
Yeah, in five years when this thing hits the market, global warming will have taken away most of its market anyway! I keed of course, but when's the last time we could've used this in NYC?
until TivoToGo comes to HD this offers nothing that my cable DVR does except a nicer interface and a higher monthly fee. amazon unbox might be nice to play with but I just want TivoToGo damnit!
yeah i know tell me about it. it should be $20 cheaper than my bill with the blackjack! even more awesome.
wow, way to steal their thunder verizon.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
