This should make the already entertaining posts on a particular iphonedev forum even more-so as people who not only have no programming experience but now no server admin experience try to write apps that push notifications.

Regardless if this is a stunt - the app store is starting to look like a two-bit...er...store. Between the fart apps and the naked chick apps it's getting kinda skanky. So much for a review-process - they might as well just open it up at this rate. Then at least there won't be a waiting period (been waiting over a week to see the new version of Tweetie - a legit app - how much longer?)
