Well I just purchased my first game console since I had ColecoVision in Jr. High. Seriously.

I purchased the PS3 for the following reasons.

#1 It had Rock Band
#2 it had Blu Ray
#3 The Ability to easily upgrade hard drive. Took me less than 10 minutes.
#4 Due to #3 use as a media server and bypassed AppleTV

So far I am very impressed with the PS3, now mind you I only own 3 games. But the unit itself is very slick and powerful. I like that it can use USB devises and all input devices do not have to be specially purchased.
