Dude, did you not read the article... "the current level of service will apparently remain free, and continue to include features like...the ability to play games online"?
Landsharks...scary stuff.
Until I actually see this thing being used in a wide library of games I actually want to play, this will firmly remain in the Sega Genesis 32X realm. Same goes for Sony's controller.
I'd agree the 3rd one is a bit stupid, but I don't think the first two are too off-putting. I like these adds a hell of a lot more than the Pre adds. I think Palm totally screwed the pooch on their adds as most people I talk to only remember the creepy lady and nothing about what the phone actually DOES. While these certainly feel targeted at the male demographic, at least they're picking a horse to ride. It didn't feel like Palm was talking to anyone.
Not 3g...totally different tech
180 opinion here...could do much better.
Exactly! While the network might be flexible, the chip in the users device is most certainly not. So, if they want to make that switch, better do it quick.
Epic Fail HP. Way to destroy what little was left of the Voodoo brand. The Voodoo Envy 133 and it's carbon fiber case was a gorgeous machine. All it needed was the 15" variant and updated components and it would've been a killer machine. Instead, you just mimic Apple and show you have zero originality. Very sad.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
