Its still an apples to oranges comparison. BB is mostly used in the US and Symbian is used worldwide- think of the sheer population difference youre talking. Its a totally different market.

And yes # of devices do matter. If you sell 100 variants of a device with an OS youre sure to appeal to more people than an OS on 10 models. Plus lets not forget BB is mainly an enterprise tool and Symbian is a consumer product, again appealing to a MUCH larger number of people.
yeh i dont understand the big deal if its unlocked. it only has tombile's funky 3g bands so it doesnt help anyone all that much
why the hell would a blind perosn purchase a full touch screen phone they cant see anyways? Completely stupid idea and a blind person wont go through all of this hassle to use a touchscreen they cant see. Blind people use phones with real keys that they can feel. This "invention" may work for a few basic functions but it wont change orientations with the program so theres very little you could probably use the phone for. Again, not that many if any blind people want to or do use an iphone.
again, a totally irrelevant comment since its a totally different OS AND different carrier- GSM vs CDMA. Let the big boys use their Windows Mobile.
that doesnt run Windows Mobile so totally irrelevant- totally different type of device
id switch to ATT to try one

"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
