sounds promising, but think Rowmote Pro is still probably better.
too bad O2 UK won't sell them off contract. O2 Germany units are tempting, but fyi they have QWERTZ keyboard layout and webOS has no software option for re-mapping the Y's and Z's for QWERTY users.
Foleo redux... exactly my first thought. why is this a good idea now when it wasn't then?
as we now know from Apple's App Store, walled gardens still don't keep crap apps out of the library. so, thank you Google for taking a path to reduce friction between developers and consumers. let consumers vote on quality with their time/money.
Does the Ethernet adapter work through a USB hub? I could see using this in the office if I could use that one USB port to connect to a hub with keyboard, mouse and Ethernet.
I'm interested in going the GoPhone route as a potential way to save money on iPhone service since it will be a second line that I will mostly use for Internet but still want to have voice and cellular data (not switching my current number from T-Mobile). Can you answer these questions...

*It looks like the minimum I can pay monthly for voice plus unlimited Internet under GoPhone is $50 ($29.99 for voice, $19.99 for data), so $10 less than the regular iPhone plans. Do I have this right?
*Can I switch my already activated on regular plan iPhone over to GoPhone plan or should I cancel, return this iPhone and start over again with a new iPhone?
*Will visual voicemail work with a GoPhone plan?
*Does it really prompt you with billing updates every time you start/stop data access tasks and wake the device up?

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
