This is only about Orange selling the N81 with contracts, right? IE, there's nothing to stop people buying the N81 separately and using it on Orange's network...
All very well for Nokia, but I wonder how well 3rd party s/w providers will do in the Indian market. In China, there is little to no interest in phones going 'online' (also, wifi is not allowed on phones). However, my S60 app download stats show that Indian users have plenty of access to the internet via their phones. In my results, Russia is the top, but they are almost exclusively S60 2nd edition phones, while India is a good mixture of both 2nd and 3rd.
"Chocolate the second time around"? Sounds like s**t to me.
Can't they think of anything better than that?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"

Let us know if it works, since I'd like to try it on my 3250 (also S60 3rd).
