Mass exodus? 2-3 people leaving -- at the same time they are hiring a lot of new. Business as usual!

"Priced Over $1000

Perhaps more important in determining whether the Q1 stands a chance of success is its price. It looks quite expensive. Samsung said the Q1 will go on sale in Europe for $1190, which is slightly over the $500 to $1000 price range we first heard about when Microsoft began talking about Origami."

-A laptop PC costs me $600 and up == it is almost as portable as an UMPC
-A Nokia 770 $350: it is far more portable (like cell phone), has the same screen resolution, better battery life time, open Linux OS, it is already available, software upgrades will give me internet calls soon, ... etc

I bet UMPS is too heavy and too big. Who neds a humvee?

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
