These are extremely valid concerns. Battery has been a concern since iPod. I wonder why they choose to overlook this big concern in iPhone's design. It casts serious questions on thier design review process.

Second generation iPhone for $249 in September?

Thats great news! it raises several questions though. If they plan to sell it for 249$, will it have all the features of the original iPhone or will it be severly downgraded? Will this version have a lock in with a single providor? Will it not estrange the early adopters by making them feel that they paid too much? It would be interesting to watch what happens.

"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
