I'm so tired of using printers with wires, that would be perfect in my room !
agreed with all your points. but one aspect that's even worse is that ebay is actually pushing away casual sellers who sells things auction style, in favor of big sellers who have thousands of items listed and sell at a fixed price, thus making more money for ebay.
the buyer and seller protection through paypal is absolutely horrible.
america is supposed to be the #1 country in the world, yet I have never seen so many people show a blatant lack of intelligence.
before posting about an issue, get your facts. get a book and read some history.
communism is a shitty system no doubt and Chazez not a saint. but to be taking the side of corporate hawks like Exxon who have been destroying coutries and lives for their own profit, is rather stupid.
Exxon might have ben american 20 years ago, today it serves only a very few who are drowning in billions, they pay less and less taxes, and and spend their money in Dubia and London, places that the average american will only see on the internet.
Chavez might be anti-american but he's doing what every leader should be doing : looking out for his own people. if one day, the rulers of Saudi-Arabia decide to do just that, that would be the end of america as we know it. instead of hating on Chavez, you better pray that day never comes.
this reminds of the Enron debacle where all the big analysts and experts failed to see it coming (or chose not to) until it was too late.
they can think of all the plans they want, it simply won't work for the simple fact that many bad decisions were made and someone has to take the loss. it's simple as that.
unless we can turn back time, they have a lot of writedowns coming ! the money has alreay left the building with early investors who sold their homes for big profit, brokers, analysts and CEOs who got their big bonuses and stock options for creating that huge mortgage market.
now that it's blowing up, someone needs to pay for these bonuses. it's gonna be the shareholders, the homeowners and with the new fiscal plan, the tax payer as always !

out of the 400 movies on HD-DVD, how many are actually worth buying or watching AGAIN ? maybe 30.

what do you do for NEW movies ? I'm not talking about new releases of movies tthat have been out for 5 or 10 years. in a few months there will not be a single studio releasing on HD-DVD. and toshiba knows it.

this is why they are dumping their stock on consumers always looking for good deals. except that one isn't. prices alway go down, but at that rate, it is clearly a "get out of the ship before it sinks" sale.
seems like a going out of business sale to me !

in a year everything will be released on Blu-Ray and HD-DVD will be a thing of a past. which means if u pick these up today u will most likely have to buy a Blu-Ray player in a year anyway, unless you can keep watching the same movies over and over again, lol
how about making a mac with nothing but the screen and the keys ! that should weigh even less and they can sell it for 3000$ ! are we that freakin, stupid ?

Apple is walking on thin ice here. I can get a new vista laptop for around 500$, if I get a macbook for 1400$ , the least I can get is a freakin' update.
instead they waste time on a Macbook Air because the rule of the industry is : once you bought the product u're a sucker and u're no longer important. on to the next sucker who wants to switch because the mac vs windows commercials are cool ! way to go Apple !

same thing with the iphone and the Ipod touch. can't wait to find an alternative to iphone. apart from being itunes slaves, we got firmware that always destroys basic features Apple can't even provide.

Microsoft and Google, give us a good smartphone already !
Rogers will jack up the price the 599$ plus a 3-year agreement and outrageous price plans, only a few lazy people will actually go for it when you can get it in the states for 399$ and have it unlocked. so I just don't see that happenning.

I've been using my Iphone with Rogers since the unlocking became available. i got a regular plan and pay 5$ extra for 5MB data. the only thing missing is the visual voicemail. which isn't a big deal.
I'm tired of my Iphone, it's time for something new !
I think Konami is trying to over do it. by the time the game is released, it will be more like a Halo/Gears of War type of game with all kinds of ugly out of space vilains. and that`s really not where this game should be heading.

it's supposed to be a freaking stealth game for god's sake. I don't mind fighting some advanced machines here and there, but boss fights are never about stealth, it's more about button mashing.

seems this will be another promising game gone to waste.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
