I have the i320 and I find it eminently useable. It is SO much smaller than any of the PPC/Symbian devices I've used recently (kJam, Jam, P990, N70) and the key board is just as useable for me, I took to it straight away. The screen is small, but so is the device. I guess you get one with the other.

The build quality is also light years ahead of anything HTC have produced. The only gripe I would have with it would be the battery life, but it lasts a day no problem and Samsung give you and extra battery and means to charge it so I have not had a problem with it yet.

I would like to see it compared to the i600 and the excaliber though.

All in all it is an excellent phone. I'm surprised you're so dismissive of it. Have you a new sponser in HTC?
There are also problems with the airport card (actually on the intel board) dropping connectivity at regular intervals. That is annoying me.
Is anyone having the problem with network connectivity? My macbook pro drops it's wireless connection regularly (every 5mins or so). Seems it's a problem with the intel board.

No problems with the screen so far, dropping the network connection and a weird irregular clunk from the guts of the machine are my only issues.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
