Would we be able to use teh GPS out of the box or will we need a service like teleNAV? I don't want to pay a monthly fee to use the gps. But looks like we can get this phone without a data plan from at&t. So now should i get this because it has gps and wifi, or wait for the pearl 2 which is rumored to not have gps but wifi. If I have to pay monthly for the gps I would rather go for the Pearl 2, otherwise i'm all over the 8820.
Will we be able to use the phone gps and wifi without subscribing to a
data plan? Hopefully AT&T won't limit the phones features if the consumer doesn't get a data plan like they currently do for the iphone. I think you can currently get a blackberry without a data plan but those are useless without wifi, so they might change that with this phone.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
