The regular nano is a hideous little beast.... does anyone else think somehow this actually dosent look so bad?
In Pennsylvania the law actually bans any any exhaust that makes the vehicle louder than an oem exhaust. Another law actually bans all aftermarkmarket non-oem spec parts on cars. The law isn't usually enforced, but its on the books.
It's too bad the H2 got such a bad reputation, and that it's generally regarded as a joke, as it's usually driven in urban traffic, with 22" wheels. It's designed to be an off roader, not a commuter.
That car is not worth 62k or even 50k without the F trinkets. This is a hairdresser's car for way too much money.
$62K for a Lexus or $62K for a new CTS-V? hmmm

The Lexus is kind of like one of those girls who at first glance takes your eye. She's attractive, but the more you look, you notice faults here and there. Her butt is a little big, her legs just a little short, but overall she's alright, and your interest is sparked. You notice she's wearing D&G shades, has a Coach bag, and Prada shoes. She talks like she confident and knows everyone... The thing is, after a while you realize while she thinks she's a 10, she's just trying real hard to pretend she's a 10, the shiny bits just hide her flaws for a while, and she's not all that engaging. You realize that same girl with less glitz, more personality, and a lower price tag wouldn't be so bad.

But, just like the car, she's expensive, and you'd love to take her for a ride, but somehow she's just not worth the money.
So then you'll have a 60hp bug?
Pay off my 04 CTSV I bought in 08. Then resist the urge to maggie it, and buy a bike.
@Jason Murray

...only it would be better with Olivia Munn standing below it
I know a lot of the commenters here want this device to be the bees knees, and part of me does too, but don't get mad at the reviewer because the phone isn't as good as it could have been.

The best resistive, screens are still behind the best capacitive displays, and for having the option of a stylus for small objects? A good OS eliminates the need for a stylus and a secondary input method such as a trackball or dpad allows for clicking those oh so small links on web pages. Moving your thumb to a trackball is easier than pulling out a stylus. If I wanted a stylus, I'd dig out my old Palm Zire 72.

As for arguing Nokia eventually supporting portrait mode, that's not now and the reviewer can't review what Nokia might do later.

It is what it is, good OS with potential with good specs that's too quirky for mainstream adoption on a large scale. Don't be mad at the reviewer because of this. If you like the phone, then go buy one.
This coming from someone who has never even used an N900...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
