Um, I'm sure this will continue. That date is for folks who HAVE NOT pre-ordered. You basically get put at the back of the line.

The first set of preorders originally scheduled to go out on November 30 are still expected to go out by 12/7 along with the second set of preorders.

230 MPG is ONLY if you run it on electricity only (so, only 40 miles). After that it's roughly the same as a Toyota Prius.

Please, don't add to the marketing hype of "230 MPG" because you'll never see that.

@jason51873, the SDK has been out since May (publicly since July).... so, what are you talking about?

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.

"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
